  • Trained YOLOv8 computer vision models on ~4,500 labeled and augmented aerial images to detect silt fences and classify structural damage
  • Implemented camera projection and ground-intersection models using altitude, FOV, gimbal geometry, and pixel ray tracing to estimate object distance and geolocation
  • Designed an ML-assisted severity scoring pipeline combining vision outputs with LLM reasoning to prioritize damage for automated inspection reports

Autonomous Drone Search & Recovery Planning Platform

  • Designed and built a desktop mission-planning and control system for autonomous UAV search-and-rescue operations
